Returning Your CircleDNA Sample

Thank you for taking the next step in your DNA journey! To ensure your sample is processed smoothly and without delay, please review the important return instructions below:

1. Return From the Same Country

Please make sure to return your sample from the same country where your kit was originally delivered.
Before sending it back, don’t forget to activate your kit using the CircleDNA mobile app—this links your sample to your account.

Keep all return materials and documents included in your kit. Discarding them may delay or prevent successful return processing.

2. Understanding Your Prepaid Shipping Materials

All return shipping is prepaid and complimentary for CircleDNA customers—no additional payment is needed.
If you choose to use your own courier without CircleDNA’s approval, we will not be able to refund any shipping costs.
If your order includes fewer than four kits, we’ll provide one set of return documents. You may ship up to four sample boxes in one return envelope.

3. Preparing Your Sample for Return

Once you’ve collected your sample, place the sealed test tube into the specimen bag
Place the specimen bag inside the white DNA Collection Kit box
Don't need to return the black or colored outer box
If returning multiple kits, you can include up to four white boxes in a single envelope

5. When Should I Return My Sample?

We recommend sending your sample back as soon as possible after collection. Store it at room temperature and out of direct sunlight—there’s no need to refrigerate.

Good to know: Your sample is preserved in the stabilizer and remains viable for up to 3 months, even across a temperature range of -20ºC to 50ºC (-4ºF to 122ºF).

6. What Happens After You Return It?

Once your sample arrives at our lab:

It takes up to 3 business days to register your sample
Your Circle App will be updated as soon as registration is complete
Your DNA analysis and results typically take 18 business days to process
Once ready, you’ll receive a notification in the Circle App with access to your personalized report
