General Guidelines for All Customers

Return from the same country/region where your kit was delivered.
Activate your kit in the CircleDNA mobile app before returning your sample.
Once sealed and mixed with the stabilizer, your DNA sample can be stored for up to 3 months at temperatures ranging from -20ºC to 50ºC (-4ºF to 122ºF)—but we recommend shipping it as soon as possible.
Do not use an independent courier without our approval. CircleDNA is not responsible for return shipments arranged without authorization and cannot offer refunds for those charges.
For orders of fewer than four kits, only one set of return documents will be provided. To request additional return materials, email us at [email protected].

1. Returning Your Sample

You can return your CircleDNA sample using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Schedule a DHL Pickup Online

Visit MyDHL+ and select your country.
Click “Ship” > “Schedule a Pickup”
Select “NO” when asked if you're creating a new shipment, and choose “I have a DHL Waybill Number”
Enter your 10-digit waybill number, contact details, and preferred pickup date/time
Once scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email and pickup reference number

Option 2: Schedule a DHL Pickup by Phone

Call your local DHL hotline
Provide the following details:
- DHL tracking number (10-digit code on your return waybill)
- Shipment Type: Global return
- Recipient: As listed in your return documents
- Payment: Paid by receiver
- Packaging: FedEx Pak (or equivalent return packaging)
- Weight: 0.5kg
- Contents: Plastic swab in plastic tube
- Declared Value: USD $1

Option 3: Drop Off at a DHL Branch

Prefer to drop it off?

Visit the DHL website and select “Find a Location”
Book a drop-off date and time at your nearest DHL service center
Bring your return package and provide your waybill number at the counter

Don’t forget to keep your 10-digit tracking number so you can monitor your return shipment status.

2. What Happens After You Send It

Use your tracking number at DHL.com to check your sample’s delivery status
Once it arrives at our lab, registration takes up to 3 business days
You’ll receive an update in your Circle mobile app once your sample is registered
Your personalized DNA results will be ready in approximately 18 business days

You can track your sample’s status throughout the process directly in the CircleDNA app.
