Kit Expiry & Sample Stability

Each CircleDNA kit includes an expiry date printed on the test tube, so please be sure to collect and return your sample before this date.
For example, if your kit’s barcode starts with 2605-0000-0000-00, it will expire in May 2026.

Why the Expiry Date Matters

Your test tube contains a DNA stabilizer that helps preserve your sample and protect it from bacterial contamination once sealed. To ensure your DNA can be analyzed accurately:

• Return your sample before the expiry date

• Expired kits are not eligible for replacement or refund

Sample Storage Conditions

Once sealed, your sample can remain stable for up to 3 months when stored at temperatures between -20ºC to 50ºC (-4ºF to 122ºF).

Even if the kit hasn’t been used, it will stay stable under these conditions during storage or shipping.

Our Recommendation

For the best results, we recommend returning your sample to our lab as soon as possible after collection. This helps us ensure the highest quality analysis of your DNA.
