• Children & Teens: Parents can easily help collect a cheek swab sample.

• Babies: The swab is gentle enough for infants, often used by parents to explore their child’s potential early on.

• Seniors: Since no blood or needles are required, it’s an excellent choice for older adults too.

Important Notes:

• Breastfed babies: Breast milk may carry traces of the mother’s DNA, which can affect the sample. For best results, wait until the baby is no longer breastfeeding.

• Formula-fed babies: If your baby is not breastfed, wait at least 30 minutes after feeding before swabbing to ensure an accurate sample.

• Bone marrow transplant recipients: If you’ve had an allogeneic (donor) bone marrow transplant, we do not recommend testing, as the donor’s DNA can appear in the saliva and affect the accuracy of your results.
